Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this Ear Thermometer. It is so easy to use and I love that it has an app so I can'track when and what temperature. I always forget when I'm on the phone with the doctor and now I won't have that problem! I set up both kids on the app in no time and was able to track both easily.

I was given this product to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. I have 4 young chI'dren so a reliable thermometer is an important tool for us to have. We have trI'd various types and styles and have a forehead one that we have liked the best so far. However, I was excited to try this new version of the Kinsa thermometer because I liked the idea of app integration and being able to track symptoms and readings in one place. The app was easy to download and I was able to set up the thermometer and accounts for each person in a few minutes. You can pick and avatar which my kids liked but also makes it easy to see their I'dividual profile quickly. The home screen of the app is laid out well and easy to fI'd what you are looking for. I like the idea of being able to track medicine, symptoms, and the readings all in one place. I thought it was a unique feature that they offer resources and advice as well. A huge plus for a tired mom with sick kids is not having to try and remember when you gave medicine or the last exact reading of the temperature.I had used a prior version of the Kinsa thermometer and app and it was so clunky so I would definitely give this version an A for upgrades! As far as the thermometer itself, I really like the size, it was easy to clean and simple to operate. I am always skeptical of "8 second" thermometer as I have wiggly kids and it always seems to not work that quickly, however this thermometer worked amazingly. It was quick and it even has bubbles to pop on your phone screen to keep the chI'd occupI'd. The reading came out really accurate according to the other thermometer we checked it with and my son didn't mI'd doing it. The only downside I see is its hard to take a temperature in the mI'dle of the night under the arm or in the mouth, so i would probably use a temporal thermometer in the mI'dle of the night still. But overall I really love this thermometer and am so stoked to have it in our sickness toolbox.

I have two chI'dren (7 and 3) and did basal body temperature checks for almost two years when I was trying to get pregnant so I have LOTS of experience with thermometers. I have trI'd them all, cheap digitals, back of the ear, expensive temporal, ?fast? Bluetooth enabled and old fashioned mercury that I had to have imported from I'dia. None of if these options consistently worked well in all situations. So when the weeSpring Parent Panel offered to provide me with this product to test and provide feedback, I jumped at the chance. The Kinsa works consistently in all situations. Seriously, this thermometer is great! It is super fast, easy to use, accurate and with the Kinsa app all of your data is conveniently stored for easy review later which will come in handy when we have those inevitable mI'dle of the night temperature checks when the girls are sick. It was easy for all of us to use (even my 3 year old was able to get an accurate oral temperature reading!) and I love how the app stores the temperatures separately for each family member. The actual thermometer body is soft and flexible which makes is really comfortable to use. I highly recommend this thermometer.

I love the simplistic look and fee of this thermometer. It is easy to use- one button to turn it on/off and take temp- and easy to read- big, well lit display. I love that the stick (?) is flexible because my kids won't sit'still with the thermometer in their mouths, so under the arm is the way for us l, and this thermometer will stay in a squI'ming toddlers armpit. The app is helpful for a mom like me, who never knows if I should take the kids to the doctor or if I'm overreacting. After the temperature shows up on my phone, there are a few simple questions to answer, and then it'suggests how soon you should see a doctor. Flu and strep hit our family while I tested this out, and I can say it was within .2 of the clinic?s thermometer. It also keeps track of each family member?s health history in the app. I received this thermometer in exchange for my honest review as part of the WeeSpring Parent Panel.

Thanks to Wee Spring Parent Panel for sending me the Kinsa Quick Care Thermometer. It is not a thermometer I would have sought out because I typically like an ear thermometer. Conveniently the day after I received the Kinsa Thermometer my daughter woke up with a fever. I'downloaded the free app and gave the thermometer a try. The app let me set up I'dividual profiles for each of my kids. I then selected the sick chI'd's profile and put the thermometer under her armpit. Much to my surprise a bunch of bubbles show up in the screen for your chI'd to pop. This is a way of keeping them distracted while the temperature is being read. It was a great idea. All my kids (ages 7,6,4, and 1) enjoyed popping the bubbles. The temperature reading was done so quickly and accurately. I took it more than once to see how consistent it was, and to my pleasant surprise it was very consistent each time. My ear thermometer is never as accurate and consistent as the Kinsa! I also like that the app keeps the time you took the temp so you can compare through the day. It also asks for other symptoms to record and then offers advice on the illness. This thermometer will replace our ear thermometer 100%. I've already suggested it to other moms because of the consistency, accuracy, and the app! That app is super handy! Thank you WeeSpring Parent panel for sending me the Kinsa thermometer to try. I'm so glad to have this in our first aid!

Thanks to the Weespring parent panel we received a Kinsa quickcare thermometer. In order to use this thermometer you need to download an app. If you're a mom like me, I have a million other apps already on my phone, plus a million pics taking up all the space on my phone. It would be nice to be able to use this with and without the app. After downloading the app, I'did appreciate the fact that you can keep track of past temps, symptoms, illnesses and especI'lly the med dose and times. I have forgotten med times in the past so this was a nice feature. Also, it can be very handy when having to talk to the doctor about the kids symptoms. The thermometer itself was very accurate and compact enough to carry on trips or in the diaper bag. For my older kids (7 & 8 years) it was very easy to use under their tongue or armpit, for my 17 month old, not so much. I prefer to use the forehead or ear thermometer for her.

The Kinsa Quickcare Thermometer was pretty user friendly out of the box. I should have downloaded the Kinsa app prior to using the theometer since they are interactive. You can set up multiple users amd add things in like symptI'ms, diagnsosis, medication, etc and are pretty easy to navigate. The date and times are all logged for you. As a nurse I can see where this is super helpful to have if you are talking with a doctor's office regarding your chI'd's illness or bringing to a consultant's office (this would have been great to have when my little one had a bout of five back to back ear infections.) The thermometer itself is pretty quick and accurate, I'did need to retake an axillary temp due to a wiggler who didn't want her temperature taken. You can use the thermometer without the app which is nice because not every one wants to take out their phone to take a temperature at 3am. I received this product as part of the weespring parent panel.

I was really excited to try the Kinsa thermometer. it'seemed like a great an innovative idea. But I was rather let down by this. My thermometer gives me an error more often than a temperature. But I like the light and it works sometimes. That?s fine for taking my own temperature but a crying chI'd at 2 am? Yeah, not so much when I need a quick result the first time. it's small and I like that it has a case. it's also a bit flexible and I'do fI'd that more comfortable than a hard plastic thermometer. It also only paired with the app when I first installed it. Bluetooth is on and I can see that the thermometer is connected but it won't pick it up on the app and add the temperature to my profile so the nice to have feature of this doesn't even work and if I want to track I need to manually record. The app is almost too much. I want a simple app, not one full of reference material. This may be useful for some people but I'm not a big fan. I like the profiles aspect though! I received this product free to review through the weeSpring Parent Panel. All opinions are my own.
