“I received the kinsa Quickcare smart thermometer through the weespring parent panel. My first impressions of the thermometer that it was compact and attractive. Luckily it arrived right in the mI'dle of my family of six having the flu. I'downloaded the app and was pleased to fI'd out that interface of the app is extremely intuitive and user-friendly. After connecting the thermometer through Bluetooth to my phone I was able to quickly take my temperature orally in a matter of seconds. One feature that I loved was the large digital display. I also set up a profile for my two-year-old daughter, who is not the most Cooperative patient. I took her temperature orally making sure to get correct placement with on screen visual, she enjoy popping the bubbles on the app (my favorite feature btw) and held still and cooperated for once! In summary, I would recommend this thermometer two fellow parents' as well as friends and family.”
“In the market for a new thermometer? Or trying to pick the best brand for the new baby/parent in your life? Look no farther than this Kinsa Quickcare thermometer. For me, I personally loved that everything could be made to fit your families I'dividually needs? Are you someone who is forgetful? This app allows you to set remI'ders? Have a large family? This app allows you to add separate family memebers. If you want to track symptoms, not just the fever, there is a spot just for that on the app as well! The only draw back that I could see is if you are ?old school? or not the most tech savvy. The thermometer would still be accurate but you wouldn't get the full effect of the awesomeness without the added extras from the app. Sometimes grandparents'don't love all the bells and whistles. Well for me, toot toot, bring on the extras! Now for the gadget itself. I loved the sleek design with the bendable mouth piece. My oldest loves the color blue, so that was great choice for our family. The 8 second reading time was great for my fast paced family. Even when we?re ill, we rarely have time to sit'still. Not only was it fast, but it was accurate as well! The screen even shows a happy, neutral, and sad face based on the fever. What a great visual cue for the little ones you are testing! Also, this thermometer is water proof! Yay! As a busy mom of 3, pregnant with my 4th, I will continue to use this years to come and will recommend it to anyone who has kids or is expecting! “As a mom of 6 chI'dren I'm always looking for products which simplify my life. I was very happy when I was given this Kinsa Smart Thermometer to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. I love the fact that I can add a profile for each of my family members; including myself and my husband. This allows me to have records of not just our temperatures, but also the time it was taken and any other symptom at the time. Since the app is on my phone, I can pull all this information up for the doctor to see. It also keeps me from getting confused as to who had what because it is recorded right in their personal profile. All I have to do it tap on a person and all their information comes up.
The other huge plus to this thermometer is that it is super quick! Within seconds you have an accurate reading. They do put a cute bubble popping game to play on the app while your chI'd waits for their temperature to finish. I also changed the voice in settings so Elmo speaks and tells my kids when they are done; they look forward to hearing him tell them that they are done. As you click symptoms you have, he also speaks cute little phrases.
There is a place in the app to keep record of medicines you give, the time you give it, and you can set a remI'der for future doses. Again, all info is easily accessible right from your phone. There is also a tab for notes in case you wish to record anything about their illness, symptom, medication, etc.. I fI'd this tab useful to write down questions I want to ask the doctor since I always have a list in my mI'd and then notoriously forget to ask at least one of my questions.
There is a resource tab so you can get information which will guide you through the illness and offer suggestions for managing the symptoms.
All in all, this is a great product which allows me, as a busy mom, to have access to all my chI'dren?s records with just a tap of an app. It takes a super quick reading so no kids wI'd up complaining about how much longer or fighting me all together. I only wish that they made a case so I could always pack it with me on our travels.”
“The thermometer came in a neat little package which thoughtfully has a small zip bag for storage. Instructions were pretty straightforward and setup is a breeze. The Kinsa app is easy to navigate and has a very pleasing interface. The thermometer itself is a cute little thing that is slightly bendable and easily handled. it'seems accurate and taking temperature does not take a long time at all. I love that it'stores the readings for multiple people, making it easy to track health measures. I fully recommend it!
