Checking in 1.5 years later. It turns out that my grandson has grown rather fond of his bear. Unfortunately the music box no longer plays. Nothing lasts forever. I attempted to find a replacement through Amazon and Virtuoso but was unable to do so. I sewed in a wind-up music box for him to use as he is accustomed to music at bedtime. (Original entry) I Must have misunderstood the number of songs prior to purchase. Only plays four. Might have preferred quieter, “bedtime” selections and more choices for price of toy.

My grandson, with CP and audio sensibilities, loves classical music...it's very calming for him. I am so delighted with the quality of these virtuoso bears and the quality of the sound. The battery pack is removable which allows you to turn the speaker over to give the intensity that you need. Speaker toward belly equals low sound, speaker toward back equals louder sound. I do the latter for listening over room noise in public. With 45 minutes of continual play, he is overjoyed.

I loved that these bears play the entire piece of music, that the sound is decent and the volume is adjustable (easily). The bear is well-made.I would much prefer a well-made, regular teddy bear over the "composer bear look"; it was almost a deal breaker for me. I wish the music boxes were available separately for exchanging in a plain teddy bear.Love the idea of exposure little ones to compete music from differing composers.

I was raised listening to and playing classical music!: therefore I am charmed by Amadeus Mozart. This bear will be a gift to our 5 months old Great great grandson. The only disappointment is that the short composer biography that was supposed to be in amadeus’ inner pocket is missing.

Bought this for 10 month old grandson at rocking chair time. Adorable. The digital music is superb! Piano, strings, woodwinds sound like you are in a symphony hall! The bear’s face and cloth “wig” style head is very appealing. Classic clothing is nice velvet and embroidered satin,. This is a soft and huggable bear. Push button unit through clothing on tummy, with pause and volume control. Music lasts about 45 minutes. Musical unit has back Velcro closure, runs on AA batteries. A wonderful gift!

FYI this isn’t necessarily a bedtime bear. It’s the original version of the music, not a lullaby version. Sometimes it’s a little intense! That said, my baby loves to play with it and it’s super soft and cuddly. It came with a nice drawstring bag and would make a really cute gift. Baby also loves the super fun tag inside the bear’s jacket. Is it worth $50? Maybe??

High quality bears that play an actual recording of orchestral music, not a synthesizer like other kids toys. The bears are soft and well made with no loose pieces which is good for babies. Seemed pricey at first but after buying Beethoven and playing it every night buying Mozart was a no brainer. The one children’s toy we don’t mind hearing over and over again.

Love the Mozart and Beethoven Bears. They are colorful and well-made, with sewn eyes!! My grandchildren loved the music and eagerly began listening, then dancing. These make wonderful gifts and children will fall asleep listening to their bear’s music. I appreciate the thoughtfulness and creativity that went into their design. I will definitely purchase again for future gifts so young children will hear classical music. I hope more musical bears will be added to the series.
