“Most often I've had issues with protein shakes because they're really chalky tasting, the sweeteners are always really unsavory and they leave a lasting bad taste. But when I tried the Vanilla Bean flavor or Koia it completely changed my mind. It's fast become the only protein drink that I'll purchase, otherwise I'll make my own. But really the flavor feels like it's a cheat, but it's low in sugar and carbs, and really high in protein. It's such an exciting treat to enjoy after a hard workout. Cannot recommend it enough. I think the only issue you might face is if you have a sensitivity to almonds... one thing I've thought would be beneficial would be if they tested this with cashew or oat milk it might be able to be used more widely. But in general, it's awesome. Their other protein drinks are good too, but this is the only one I've had where I distinctly DO NOT taste the protein in it. It's awesome :)”
“I’ve had a few flavors and they are all good but I keep going back to the simple yet amazing flavor of the vanilla bean. I’m a huge vanilla bean ice cream flavor fan and this reminds me somewhat of a vanilla bean milkshake but without the consequences if all the sugar and carbs. Absolutley Devine! Whenever I can find this flavor I always buy a few extras at it seems to be a favorite and hard to find stocked on store shelves.”
“My local grocery store only offers three flavors of Koia protein flavors. This is the first one I’ve ever tried and my all time favorite. I’ve used in both pancake and muffin recipes in place of milk to add both protein and flavor. I like it’s plant based, all natural and not overly sweet. Keeps me full all morning till lunch time”
