“When KORA announces a new product launch, I always get excited because they always come up with something 'new' rather than a duplicate of what's already there in the market, but still firmly stick to formulas packed with earthy, natural ingredients. This dual-phase cleanser is something in the middle of cleansing milk & cleansing oil to me, and so far I'm loving it so much. I'm a guy who doesn't wear makeup at all but was looking for something like a cleansing oil, without having that 'too oily' experience because I do wear waterproof sunscreen everyday, and this product is a jackpot to me.
- The scent is more towards geranium flower (as it should be because there's geranium oil quite high up in the ingredient list) but subtle and pleasant, unlike those ordinary cleansing oils which have this strong 'oily' scent that I'm not very fond of. The scent really gives me a fresh and calming experience as I cleanse my face.
- I usually use it while my face is dry and it layers over my face like a lightweight creamy moisturizer (zero foaming) thus I do feel like this cleanser nourishes my skin at the same time.
- I can clearly see the blackheads coming out from my pores as I gently rub it into my skin - it works great for clogged pores!
- There're something like white peeling residues coming out from my skin after I splash water to wash off the cleanser. I assume it's something in the ingredients reacting to the water. It requires a slight additional effort to wash those off but after removing it, I can feel my face is so clean and smooth, which gives me an impression that this cleanser can gently exfoliate the surface of my skin too.
This cleanser may need your additional effort like shaking it thoroughly beforehand to activate, which is a minor drawback I would mention if I have to, but overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Another great product from KORA!”
“What a lovely classy cleanser! My prediction is that this will certainly become a cult product moving forward. With reference to size - a generous amount. With reference to does it work - yup sure does. This cleanser has a luxurious feel to it. The oil element means your skin is left hydrated. Fantastic new product. A must try and a must buy. Be careful with the glass bottle. A great touch but I’m too scared to use it in the shower incase I drop the bottle and it breaks .... so I dash out of the shower, pump the cleanser amount I need (I use 5 pumps with makeup on or 4 pumps without) and then dash back into the shower. The cleanser is sooo pretty it’s now a feature on my bathroom counter.”
