“The first time I used this mask it was fine, with no adverse reaction etc. However, the second time I used it, as soon as I removed it, I had redness (looked exactly like a sunburn) all over my face where the mask had been. Thankfully the redness went away within 2 hours, with me applying a cold compress. I don't want to risk using it again though, as it seems there is something in this that my skin is sensitive to. I feel bad giving this only 2 stars because I can see how it might work well for a lot of people and it is a high-quality product, it's just a shame how my skin reacted.”

It is normal to see a little bit of redness after use due to the increased circulation and detoxification process, and you should see the redness subside after 15-20 minutes. If you are finding the Turmeric Mask quite intense, we also had one of our staff members who has sensitive skin build up a tolerance to the Turmeric Mask because it is quite active. She initially started using it as just an exfoliator while showering, then started gradually using it as a Mask for a few minutes at a time until eventually she could leave it on for the full 15 minutes.
