“Whether or not a retinol alternative, in its own right as a serum, it's the best I've found. Skin drinks it in and feels incredible. The texture is just right for maximum absorption and hydration. I personally love the smell (like toast or coffee) despite other reviews. I struggled with the applicator at first but found a solution, don't squeeze it in the bottle it needs to be lifted fully out, squeezed, then dipped in the serum and released. This will draw in plenty of serum to the dropper. Love this product so much, going through it quickly, wish it came in a bigger bottle.”

Any remaining bumps from breakouts that I’ve had have been smoothed and contrary to some of the reviews, I love the smell - it reminds me of coffee (something I have recently let go of ).
I have very few lines on my face so I didn’t take the time to compare my skin before & after. I’m super grateful to have found a product that my skin so clearly loves, and I’m usually reticent to attribute clear skin to products as I believe that most of what matters is on the inside. My only other thought about this would be that I’m unsure if the bottle is the most practical delivery of the product because it’s more like a light moisturiser in consistency. I guess I’ll find out for sure when my bottle starts to empty.

“I was really hoping that this would be my organic retinol saviour. Unfortunately for me it's not as it's the smell of the product. I have horrible flashbacks to when I was little and my mum would give me Cod Liver Oil on a spoon to ward off the germs of winter. I found the product went on beutifully but just couldn't come to terms with the smell.”
