“I suffer from Endometriosis as well as other related conditions like pelvic floor dysfunction, IC, IBS, chronic ovarian cysts, and fibromyalgia. I was in the middle of one of my flare ups that I get each month for 1-2 weeks of severe, debilitating, 'round the clock pain. I had been trying everything I have for pain management; pain meds, lidocaine patches, heating pad, meditation, distracting myself on anything else than my pain, and a trip to my massage therapist for an hour, and reiki. Nothing was working and I was on my last bit of strength before throwing up the white flag to go to the ER for an IV of morphine to basically knock me out so I don't feel the pain anymore!
