A - THE ORIGINAL was the first product developed when Johan Bülow was inspired to coat liquorice with chocolate - something that was not seen before in Denmark. People were at first sceptical about the idea, but the popular product A - THE ORIGINAL soon saw the light of day. The combination of sweet liquorice, exclusive milk chocolate and fine liquorice powder is, according to many, instantly addictive.

“I ordered the Original and for me the salty liquorice center wasn't salty enough! For the eggs, these were nice; crispy on the outside, soft on the inside with a good salty center, covered in cocholate. As a Scandi in exile I wish there were more proper salty options to chose from! A minus for the price, they are slightly overpriced for the amout you get.”

“I bought these as gifts as an easter alternative. Everyone loved them and enjoyed the addictive treats. The unusual texture and taste was a pleasant surprise. I definitely recommend these delightful liquorice treats.”
