“Durable, stylish and high quality. This is my second set, as after 3 years of service, the first one unfortunately fell on the floor in a bad way, and broke. With this second set, they've clearly refined the design, with a twist-and-lock top, as opposed to the rubberised stopper the previous one had. More clean, more secure. However, I did much more prefer the rubberised crumb lid of the old one - this revised design has a hard plastic lid, and it's really a nuisance to get off, requiring fingernails and effort. In this regard, the new style is worse, and I deduct 1 star for it.”

“Three of the six people that live in my home and accidentally twisted off the lid and sent peppercorns or salt rocks all over counters, stove, and floor. They come way too easily. It doesn't even take a full 360 degree rotation to remove one. A little half twist and off it comes. You can see why that is a bad design for a product that requires you to have a twisting/rotating motion to use it.”

“Hatte schon mehrere Akkumühlen.Diese haben nie lange gehalten.Nun bin ich sehr zufrieden.Wenn man nachwürzt, hat man auch zwei Hände frei um nachzuwürzen....Kein Ladegerät, kein Kabel in der Küche.Umweltbewusst im höchsten Grade!ICH werde nie mehr Akkumühlen kaufen.”

“I never thought I could be so particular about salt and pepper shakers but trying to find a set that matched my style and were simple became quite a challenge. This set is incredible, from how easy they are to use, the stylish look, and the little protective covers to prevent crumbs on your counters or table. The packaging was also fantastic and clearly this company cares about their image. Very easy care as well. I absolutely love this set!!”

“No matter what setting I use on these shakers/grinders, the salt and pepper just spills out into the covers that affix to the bottom of them. When you take off the covers to use them, the contents go everywhere. Decorative but utterly useless. Do not buy.”
