“We chose this product because of better reviews and a nice design.We also liked the concept that this product is Scandinavian design. The description hides the fact that this product is made in China like soooo many items sold through Amazon. Perhaps the sellers chose not to divulge that for fear of reducing their marketability. We will see how this product holds out. Time will tell.Update.. These are nice salt and pepper mills. Good quality, consistent delivery of salt.Looks like these will last a while.”

“Leider kann es passieren, dass man gedankenverloren die obere Kappe zum Nachfüllen öffnet anstelle des Deckel des Mahlwerks. Die Nachfüllkappe öffnet sich leichter als der eigentliche Deckel. Und schon fällt die komplette Ladung Salz bzw. Pfeffer ins Essen. Nicht besonders klug gemacht...”
