Hold with one hand and lean slightly forwards over the aerator so that you can apply gently downward pressure on the shaft with the other hand. Now walk forwards and aerate. At the end of the run, pull it up and DROP it into position for the next run (watch your toes though); this sticks it well into the lawn ready to aerate....it's that simple.TIP: If you've got a lot of lawn to do cut some foam pipe insulation and cover the handle - very comfy

Looks sturdy and of good quality. Not trialled yet as waiting for seed to become more established first

A bit fiddly to put together. Not sure how long the plastic top bar will last - its rather an important bit of the design. Otherwise it looks fit for purpose.

The Aerator was used on my lawn it worked fine when the ground was soft.I would recommend the Aerator to my family and friends.Quality of the product was good. The only thing I would say you could possibly supply extra rubber spike covers as they easily fall off and are lost.

Needs proper tools to assemble and is quite hard work even when the ground is quite damp. Does the job however.

OK for small lawns but timeconsuming for large ones. easy to assemble and use.

Good piece of kit although with the effort you have to put in I would not recommend it for everyone.

See previous comments - as currently supplied it is only suitable for a reasonably competent DIYer with a set of spanners!
