Hold with one hand and lean slightly forwards over the aerator so that you can apply gently downward pressure on the shaft with the other hand. Now walk forwards and aerate. At the end of the run, pull it up and DROP it into position for the next run (watch your toes though); this sticks it well into the lawn ready to aerate....it's that simple.TIP: If you've got a lot of lawn to do cut some foam pipe insulation and cover the handle - very comfy

Having read many reviews prior to purchasing a lawn aerator I am so glad I purchased this Greenkey Rolling Lan Aerator from Lawnsmith. It arrived quickly was easy to put together and does the job superbly. Money entirely well spent thank you.

was a little worried at first that this might be a little flimsy and not up to the job but there was no need for that concern. Very strong well made product that was a breeze to use. Provided you catch the lawns when they are still relatively moist before the sun starts to dry them out its a breeze to use

The well made lawn aerator is a lot easier / faster to use than boot spikes.

Solid build efficient design and well worth the money! I aerated the whole lawn (a big one) with a garden fork and it took a couple of hours of hard work. With this tool it took maybe 20 minutes at most - and was far more effective. Can definitely recommend it.

The product appears to be good but I have not used it yet as it came incomplete.I have described previously my attempts to get the missing part.

The tool works well and helps to work accurately and quicklyThe bolts holding the handle too together are too thin and too short. The bolts being thin and short making it difficult to get them tightened

The aerator is hard work. Make sure the lawn is slightly damp and be prepared to puss hard
