This has been replaced by the improved green spreader. The principals of operation are the same and they do the same job but this latest model has an improved warranty to 3 years and sturdier construction.MaintenanceFertiliser, being a salt, is highly corrosive so all spreaders should be thoroughly hosed out after use, air dried completely and all exposedmeal parts sprayed and/or wiped with a light oil such as WD40 or a  silicone spray. The shoulder spreader is great as an everyday tool. Easy to use and great for awkward areas. Much quicker than one with wheels. Did a tennis court in under 5 minutes.
