“When I was a child growing up in War time England we had a "strange" ointment in our medicine cabinet. It was sticky, black, smelled like tar and was known as " BLACK JACK". In those days the School playgrounds were surfaced with rough gravel so that If you took a tumble you ended up with knees painfully embedded with gravel. That meant going home and having Mom spend an hour picking out pieces of gravel with a needle - Ouch! Then came the slathering on of the "Black Jack" ointment! By the following morning all the gravel had been drawn out and the pain was gone. That was more than 70 years ago! I have lived in the U.S.A for the past 60 years and Just recently came across the Ichthammol Pine Tar Drawing Salve on the Legend's website. I ordered 2 jars and it IS the same wonderful "Black Jack" I remember from way back! It is as soothing and effective as it ever was. Thank you for continuing to offer this amazing product.”
