“Tempted personally by a slate bed pool table, but the kids wanted something with more variety so we went for this. It's pretty good; more substantial than I was expecting (it's heavy and putting it up is at least a 2-man job) and the pool table plays well enough so I don't feel as if I had to compromise too much. It is quite easy to switch between games, with air hockey being a quick, slick rotation that takes 20 seconds. The table tennis option takes a bit more effort and you need to work out a knack for attaching the net once the playing surface is resting on the base. Ours is sliding it slightly off-centre and then the same on the other side, which may scratch the pool table finish over time but we'll see. Only two other small niggles. The first (almost becoming a general pet hate) is why when manufacturers attach warning (or other kinds of) stickers to products do they not invest in 'easy-peel' options. There were two dont-trap-your-finger-type stickers on the side of the pool table and the first one took me 20 minutes to dislodge with my fingernails. Lesson learned, the second I took a hairdryer to loosen the adhesive and it took 60 seconds. The second is that in air hockey mode the puck can get stuck in the return. We have always been able to get it out so far with a bit of digging, but it's a little irritating and suggests there might be some design modification that could be made. Overall though I spent probably half of what I would have paid for a pool table for a decent product that everyone in the family enjoys. So that has to be good value.”

“Lovely table, very sturdy, great game play. I have given it 4 stars as the two halves of the table top don't quite match. Also, although it's advertised as a dining table as one of the functions, the height of the table is too high to comfortably eat. There are adjustable legs but if lowered it's hard to get your legs under comfortably. However overall I'm very pleased with the purchase”
