The 10 lanterns are evenly strung across 1.8m of clear cable. Thanks to the additional 30cm lead wire, the battery box can easily be hidden out of site. These lights require 2x AA batteries (sold separately) and we've included a 6-hour timer option to maximise the longevity of the batteries. Due to the delicate nature of the paper lanterns, these lights are for indoor use only.

“Bought these to drape over my spare bed so it looks welcoming for my visitors. You do have to assemble them. I suggest you bend the insert part which is a soft plastic. This will give you the give you need to insert it into the lantern. Be patient and go slowly. Perfect end result!”

“Lights are lovely and just right for the garden room. I did find assembling them a bit of a nightmare as instructions are minimal and materials very delicate, resulting in a tiny tear in one of them which was annoying. However, now they are up I am very pleased with them!”

“Wasn't expecting to put these together myself - You get the paper lanterns folded, all the plastic inserts for each lamp and the string of lights and have to work it out and do it yourself!! Paid full price and now have seen they are in the sale, which hasn't helped!! I have already put a hole through one of the lanterns trying to fit the plastic inserts!!! NO instructions on how to fit them either. Been impressed with all your lights I've purchased, but not these particular ones.”

Hello Justine We were so sorry to read the review that you posted to learn of your disappointment and frustration with our Botanical Lantern Battery Fairy Lights. They do require a small amount of self-assembly and we are sorry that during this process you accidentally tore one of the paper lantern covers. I have just tried to speak with you in person, unfortunately the phone number we have on your account is ringing invalid.
