Our flat pack lantern sits at 25cm tall and has a metal 11cm hanging handle, ideal for draping in hedgerows or from your trellis. With a total of 45 LEDs wrapped around it's slinky shaped frame, your garden parties can now continue late into the twilight hours. You can expect approximately 6 hours of shine time after a full days charge in spring or summer. As night sets in, our black light fades into its surroundings leaving the illusion of little floating mini lights - magical!

“The prettiest garden lantern I've seen. Spotted first at a friends party where a few brought a real festive feeling to a party. Because the structure is made of wire it fades into the background leaving the LEDs to hog the limelight!”

“The lantern, although marketed as a best seller is not made very well. The battery compartment is not attached to the actual lantern (only via the micro thin lights wire), so it can blow out of the top of the lantern in the wind. The lantern also requires a lot of good sunlight to charge every day or it will only illuminate for about an hour during twilight. Disappointing.”

Thank you for taking the time to review our Carlton Solar Lantern Helen. The solar panel does need to be in direct sunlight to provide an optimum charge to the battery. It is best suited to an open plan outdoor space and will perform much better in the Summer months. We will feed your comments back to our Buying Team on the battery compartment.
