With a 28cm lead wire between the compact battery box and the first micro LED you can easily tuck the box out of sight. These micro red fairy lights measure 1m in length and are extremely versatile, as the fine wire will blend easily into most surroundings. Pop 3 x AA batteries in the battery box and you can expect 30 - 50 hours of illumination before they'll need refreshing.

“I used this product along with the glass bell jar from this site and a silk rose to make a Beauty and the Beast magic rose night light. The finished product is great and my little girl loves it but while the lights do stay lit for a number of nights (stated battery life is 100 hours I think) they are significantly less bright by the end of the first night and are very dim by the 2nd morning and on subsequent nights. For optimal use you would need to replace the batteries every day which would mean a lot of battery charging as I have 2 sets of battery lights in her room. Also the batteries fit very tightly in and are impossible to remove by hand and need to be levered out with a screwdriver or hairclip. Having said that they do what I wanted them to and after the first night my little girl declared she wasn't frightened of the dark any more so I can't really grumble! :)”

“I could not believe how stunning the lights are when lit, they looked quite flimsy but they worked a treat, I used them with red tinsle for Christmas and used the other set on their own ,I stick them with sticky dots on my radiator cover. You won't be disappointed , I also have small gold tinsel trees and I will but the yellow ones for next year , I also have a small red tinsel tree and wil buy another red set ,just love them”
