“I had purchased a set of the white candles which I was very happy with so I decided to get the set of red as I thought they would be really nice and 'Christmassy'. I received them just before Christmas and quite honestly I have been disappointed in them. As it was so close to Christmas I did not feel I had time to return them and get another set of white. They are not as bright as the white ones - in fact it is hard to see them flickering at all. I think the red ones could do with a stronger bulb. Would not buy again.”

“They are very realistic looking, they look like real wax and look good switched on, BUT I have to say there is no hint of the red/orange two tone effect seen above.. (on or off). From that perspective I was disappointed as my room is various shades of orange, from the picture I thought they would be two toned switched off, highlighted further when switched on, but this is not the case. I did phone to ask if Id been sent the wrong ones, but was told they look 2 toned when on.. Well, we'll have to differ on that point! 'm sorry, but yes, you get a glow of light when on, but not the multi coloured effect as shown above, they are red from top to bottom..”
