One warm white, flickering LED is set on top of the wax candle to create the effect of a real candle. To illuminate, simply insert 2 x AA batteries (sold separately) into the base of the candle. The 6-hour timer option means you can set your candle to turn on and switch off at the same time every day. You can expect up to 80 hours of illumination before the batteries will need refreshing.

“Lovely looking candle but when through batteries quickly. I didn't check to see if they were new ones, ut the replacement ones are.”

“Lovely candle but I can't find batteries that last longer than 5 days. So be aware when purchasing this candle that batteries will run out quicker than other AA candles with timers and maybe it would be better if it had C batteries. We have this in our bedroom as the light is very mellow and restful. Would definitely buy more, it would be lovely in a babies nursery as it is a very pretty candle.”
