The larger and more powerful of our two battery power options, this unit houses 3 x size D batteries (not included) and is IP44 rated for safe outside use. The battery box includes a versatile multi-action button, allowing you to choose between 8 different settings for your lighting display including static, flashing and twinkling.

“A good box. I particularly like the way it can be hung up on a hook. I'm not keen on the multiflashing modes, but that's probably just me.”

“Unfortunately, it wasn't working when the item was received and connected up - no matter what we tried. As this item was needed urgently, there was no time to send it back to get replaced, so we fixed it ourselves - I believe it was a bad solder - however, all working now and lights are lovely.”

“Forget AA batteries, with this D battery box connected to my fairy lights, they go on and on for weeks, weather proof too so will be excellent used outside in place of the solar ones, Wont be so constrained to where they are placed too. I bought a set of connectable fairy lights at same time in warm white & pleased with all of it and finally, Lights for fun customer service is excellent, thanx.”
