Each of the 20 globes houses 5 LEDs and measures 5cm in diameter. With their perspex cap they’re a superbly close imitation to incandescent bulbs of old, but with all the eco-friendly and safe benefits of LEDs. These lights are evenly spaced along a black outdoor rubber cable with 22cm between each big bulb, with a total lit length of 5 metres. With a choice of three different power sources; mains, AA or D batteries so you can make the most of them wherever you want.

“Lights look good, could maybe be a little less chunky, and mount on my pergola really easily. I already had a steel wire along beam and with the split ring above each lamp they fixed on in no time. Bright enough for sitting out after dark with a few extra tea lights on table to supplement.”

“I bought two sets of these lovely lights a while back but have had endless problems with the solar panels I bought to go with them. I can see solar is no longer listed as an purchase option (although it’s still mentioned in the descriptor), so I guess I wasn’t the only one. I don’t have an outside powersocket so batteries are the only option left, but I bought these lights because they were sold as solar, I don’t want to keep having to buy new batteries so now I’m left with two sets of unlit festoon lights, which is a disappointing waste of money.”

“Really love these lights but one bulb broke so easily and because they are all sealed, there is no way to repair them.”
