5m connectable multi coloured rope light with a Type U connection.

Containing 100 bright LEDs, this connectable rope measures 5m in length and is compatible with all other rope lights, net lights and string lights in the Type U lighting range. The connections on this rope light feature watertight seals and the whole unit is fully IP44 rated for outdoor use, whatever the weather.

“Bought 7 lengths last year and the outer casing snapped on one length this year, probably due to the casing becoming brittle in the cold. The purchase this year was the one replacement, although the lights still worked, I suspect damp will have entered the break. If I hadn't been able to buy one 5m section I would have had to replace all 35m and that would have cost a lot more”

“The first thing to mention is having bought two lengths one was faulty, the female connector was oval as against round, replacement quickly sent. Lights themselves look robust but not sure about the water integrity of the connectors. Especially considering the amount of rain that has fallen recently, will be fitting waterproof sleeves to the connectors as I intend to leave them out over the year. Other than that good value and happy with the purchase”

“I have connected these lights to a solar panel which gives me 5 hours of continuous light at present as it is only March I expect the time to extend during the longer sunny days. The lights are very bright so keep them away from your bedroom windows as they will keep you awake at night. The quality of the lights are very good I have even purchased another set. The customer service from this company is excellent. Cannot praise the product enough, just buy them you will not be dissapointed.”
