“I am totally in love with these lights. I was looking for ages for a set of lights perfect for my garden - this was my brief: old fashioned lights with the feel good glow instead of looking like an operating theatre! No flashing, fading, twinkling or anything but full on and full off - I don’t care for crazy cheap lighting effects. No transformer as I want them running off the mains and controlled by a simple bedroom switch to save me going outside in cold weather. Lights that my neighbors would enjoy and not consider intrusive. Totally waterproof and that could stay up for years. Lights that gave a beautiful glow on balmy evenings as a lot of my parties extend to the garden. So after lots and lots of research I found these lights. I was deterred by the price initially but now realise that the cost has been far outweighed by all the stupid daft sets that I have got from amazon that are made in China and keep giving up the ghost. I am so wowed by these lights and the service the company gave. One last note - one reviewer had mentioned a slight odor which was there when I first opened the box but it was actually pleasant and not like a foul rubbery smell at all - and of course the minute they went up in the garden the smell dissapated. Ps my upstairs neighbor has thanked me about 6 times already as she loves the twinkling as she lies in bed at night and also says she feels more secure now the garden is lit up.”

“I bought these lights for my outdoor patio area and am very pleased with them. This was a string of four sets of lights and they appear to be well made and quite sturdy. I did notice an odd smell when I opened the box, but I'm sure once the lights have hung for a while, the smell will go. It did say on the description that more strings can be added to this set if it's not long enough, however, I don't think this set of four strings can be detached from each other. I did look to see if it was possible, but I don't think it is.”
