The illusion of a real flame is achieved using the warm glow of LED lights that reflect against the moving plastic flames to create a calm flickering glow. The sophisticated trio are each 7.5cm in diameter and come as a set of varying heights with one at 10cm, a medium at 12.5cm and the largest at 15cm.
From 3 x AAA batteries, each candle will last for around 40 hours of continuous illumination before the batteries need changing. With no naked flame, they're always 'glowing' to

“Very convincing candles, particularly if they're placed where you're not going to be looking down into them. The flame does look realistic and even produces a crackling sound similar to a burning candle. The only thing missing is the smell but you can't have everything. Very good value compared to other products that I've seen”

“I use these candles to illuminate an inglenook fireplace. Normally, when I have used real candles, they melt with the heat of the wood burner. These candles are extremely realistic and I love them. I have seen them sold elsewhere at more than double the price and they represent good value for money. They would also make a good present.”
