“I liked the idea of this, but the lights are quite a bizarre colour - mine looked pink! Certainly not 'warm white' as described. I had to wrap it all over in gold tinsel to disguise the lights and make the light they emit look more yellow which worked well and it looks very pretty now. I also cut off the large ugly white metal spiral that is supposed to fix the star to the tree - I fixed it in place with green garden wire instead. The star is quite big and the battery pack is heavy so it will do better on a larger tree, I'd say 5-6 foot minimum.”

“Lovely alternative to traditional angels.. Gives a warm and pretty look to a modern tree. Cable and battery pack is clear plastic so easy to hide in the tree branches. My tree is 6ft high, and on a small stool so I can just about reach but I would avoid if you have a massive tree, simply due to cable length. All in all, exactly what I wanted!”

“I've had mine on top of the Xmas tree since I received it and I'm delighted with it. My friends have also mentioned how much they like it. I was initially worried that the batteries wouldn't last long, but I've had it for a couple of weeks and I haven't had to change the batteries. I searched all over for a star that lights up, and found that there aren't many choices. It's very good value for money and is sturdily built.”
