“I bought this to illuminate a 'no-power-point cupboard under the stairs', which it does - to an adequate (though not very bright) level. Switching on with a 'hand wave' is nice, as is the fact that there is automatic switch off after use - so no danger of forgetting and flattening batteries. For the latter I've used an old set of re-chargeables - they work fine. As delivered there was no instruction sheet - but it's pretty intuitive anyhow. Overall - a good purchase.”

“Very bright, does the job very well.. No more treading on what the cat brings in!! I put an orange light gel around the bulb area as it's quite bright for me, but to be honest, that's probably what most people want (I have sensitive eyes post laser surgery!). It's really good for the price..”
