Brilliant, excellent value for money, quite sturdy, I know, I dropped it, set on auto, motion sensor activates lamp very satisfactorily, stays on long enough to navigate to bedroom or bathroom, without falling downstairs, big bonus cat does not activate lamp walking on floor. Suitably impressed, considering buying another for downstairs hallway. Lamp lights stays on long enough to get to bottom of stairs. Would be ideal for elderly person's bedroom. Like it, a lot.

love the fact that you have the choce to set and use it either as a constant light or just being a sensor light .. use it mostly as a sensor night light and it does the trick lighting the way in the middle of the night

It's ( very nearly! ) perfect. What I use it for is to tell me that my cat is on the window-cill and wants to come in..........But I hadn't considered that the PIR and lamp being on the same side would lessen the desired effect! I stripped it with a view to separating these features but it was not possible, alas. The quality of manufacture is excellent and I may use it elsewhere perhaps in a way that the manufacturers intended........ Really good value for money and I would recommend this device to anyone.

Handy item-. Can stick it in place but then I'm not sure how you would change the options from off/on/sensor which are on the back of the item but it also has its own stand too which is how I use it. The sensor works well and stays on a reasonable length of time.

Good light - pleasing warm tone, lights up the hallway very effectively at night, but without dazzling like a "cool white" high colour temperature light would. However, it is very sensitive - in a slightly dull hallway, it tends to turn on whenever your shadow passes over it (as it sees this as being darkness + movement), rather than only turning on when it is properly dark. I bought this light for my elderly parents (for safety when moving around at night), but as it keeps on turning on during the day, they now turn it to face the wall during the day, and then turn it to face the room during the night. Still, for the price, I'm not complaining!

Seems to do what it says on the box. I'm using it inside a wardrobe which happens to have a power point in it, and it comes on when I open the wardrobe door - which is what I wanted. Have yet to see how long it will continue to work well.
