“Lights are OK but I want to be able to decide when I want to have them on or off. With these there's a 6 hour period on, then 18 hours off. Not suitable for our needs. Hoping that by taking the battery out I can reset the timings otherwise they are not going to work for us.”

Hello Christine, I am delighted that I was able to speak with you today and confirm that if you wish to use this string of lights longer than the 6 hour time period you can simply press the "on/off" button again to restart the lights. “I have had outdoor battery fairy lights with green cable and they have always worked fine but these stopped coming on after one day and though I've tried repeatedly to reset them they just switch themselves off after five minutes. Very disappointing as it took me a while to wind them round my doorstep bay trees..”

“Lovely lights. I was disappointed when they weren't on when i came home from work and used the online chat facility as I thought the batteries must be flat after only two nights. I was answered straight away and my problem solved in minutes- I thought it was the batteries but in fact I had set them to come on later! Just remember whatever time to start them is the time they will come on the next day. I was very impressed with the quality of all the lights I ordered and the swift answer to my problem.”
