100 warm white LED bulbs are evenly spread over 10m of dark green cable, powered by the attached solar panel. The panel can be easily placed in the perfect sunny spot with the garden stake provided. Choose between 8 multifunctions featuring static & flashing by pressing the button on the reverse of the panel. The integral daylight sensor automatically switches the lights on at dusk and then continues to charge as daylight appears - now that's a bright idea! You can expect up to 6 hours

Hello Jacqueline, the button on our solar lights will always be in the "off" position in the box so as to preserve the charge in the solar battery. A top tip to check this is to cover the solar panel fully to imitate the night-time and to press the button once. The LEDs should then illuminate. Once in the "on" position the battery will charge outside in good, direct sunlight and the lights will automatically illuminate at dusk each evening. “Disappointed :( bought two sets of outdoor fairy lights and a set of the bumble bee lights for garden. Followed instructions re 16hour charge etc. but for some reason I have to physically switch the lights on every night. I've completed the 16hour charge again and they came on themselves the first night but I'm back to doing it manually again now. Minimum 10 c”

“I do not like the on/off switch, as there is no way to know which it is! It does not even click when pressed. I have got my lights working but only through luck. The mode button, similarly, does not depress with a click, so I don't know if it's working. Lights were flashing, so I pressed the mode switch - Next night - no lights. I pressed again - Back to flashing. I would not choose these again. Lights bought from you previously were much better design.”

I'm really sorry that the on/off button on your set of Solar Fairy Lights does not seem to be clicking in and out properly meaning you are struggling to determine whether they are switched on or off.
