Each of the 20 clear perspex bulb caps is 6cm in diameter and contains a single LED. There's a little hook on the side of each bulb cap which makes them super easy to hang. With 3 metres of lead cable, you can easily pop the solar panel in a super sunny spot using the ground stake included. Choose between one of the 8 functions included for a funky flash, chase or static glow with a simple press of a button. Great news - these lights are also available with a plug!

“As always with Lights4Fun, parcel arrived quickly and well packaged. The ‘bulbs’ were each individually wrapped, and after reading other reviews I was worried they would be a pain to unwrap, but the wrapping was only secured by a small piece of tape which was easy to remove. On the couple I couldn’t un-pick I just slipped the tape down and carefully snipped it with scissors. No packaging remained on the lights and it only took a few minutes to do them all. I have brought them to use in our camper when camping but wanted to test them out first, and was impressed when I switched them on and they lit up! So no need to do a practice charge! They are as bright as I expected, a lovely ambient light. I have already recommended them to fellow ‘campers’ as with the other festoon lights I have purchased from Lights4Fun.”

Hello Diane, I'm so sorry to hear of your disappointment with these Festoon Lights, it definitely sounds like you are looking for something a bit brighter for your uses. These particular Festoon Lights are for ambience, rather than as a main lighting source, and have just 1 LED per globe. You will get optimum brightness from mains powered as well rather than Solar powered.
