These lights can twinkle, chase, fade and also the classic static (steady-on) at the press of a button which is located close to the first bulb. We've included an extra-long 5 metres of green cable from the transformer (nice and small) to the first bulb, allowing you to hide your trailing wire easily. Unlike old school Christmas tree fairy lights, these bulbs cannot be replaced however offer superior longevity, impeccable brightness and tiny energy consumption (less than 20 watts). Plus -

“These lights were just the job for our 6' tree. The lights gave a strong cosy glow and enhanced the decorations. I would prefer the default setting to be static rather than flashing but it doesn't take long to click through the options. Thank you.”

“Lovely lights in a warm white so not too stark, very pleased with purchase. Only one gripe.. I would have preferred static lights only , but seems so hard to buy static only theses days , also the first 7 functions are flashing so every time you turn lights on you have to go through the process of pressing the button 7 times before you achieve static!”

“Similar comments to those expressed by others. Good lights that look lovely on our 6ft tree (would be fine for a 7ft tree). 3 minor niggles: First, the lights always switch to setting one, so have to press the sector several times to get to "permanently on" every time I switch on at the mains; second, there's only a few inches between the final light and the selector switch - our tree is rooted and planted in a tub, so the switch wouldn't reach the floor - I had to tape it to the tree's stem; third, the cable was significantly twisted as I unwound it first time (so much so that it kept twisting into knots when laid around the tree - so I had to stretch it out on the floor and untwist the whole length before finally installing on the tree (I'll put them onto a cable winder after Christmas so they are easier to install next year!)”
