These lights can twinkle, chase, fade and also the classic static (steady-on) at the press of a button which is located close to the first bulb. We've included an extra-long 5 metres of green cable from the transformer (nice and small) to the first bulb, allowing you to hide your trailing wire easily. Unlike old school Christmas tree fairy lights, these bulbs cannot be replaced however offer superior longevity, impeccable brightness and tiny energy consumption (less than 20 watts). Plus -

“Very happy with ease of ordering and prompt delivery. The lights are a lovely warm white and plentiful for an 8' tree. Plenty of alternate options for lighting/frequency but I prefer constant. The slow /gentle change of half the lights is also a preference. Good product.”

“This is a long string of lights in a good colour, perfect for wrapping around our beams. It lost a star because the control unit is some way along the cable at the start of the actual lights, not at the plug end of the cable. Since all the lights are in our beams I have to climb on to a chair every morning to switch the lights from random to static. As an aside, why don't lights default to static? How many people actually want a random light display all the time?”

“Kind of a rush buy when we realised that most of our old school lights didn't work for our tree. We have a 6ft tree so need a good 30m of lights. These fit the bill perfectly. Beautifully bright, easily covering the whole tree and with a choice of 8 settings - the slow face in/out is our favorite. Recommended.”

“Comparing the price of lights available online, these are good value. I think there are 8 different options to choose from regarding flashing, including continuous glow. It works fine; the reason it only has four stars is that every time it's switched on, it starts with the manic flashing, and I prefer a continuous light, so I have to press it about 6 times to get there. Another point, which isn't a problem at the moment, is that 2 very skinny wires go into the control box, and they look like a child could easily rip them out if they got their hands on it.”
