“The shipping was excellent (fast). The candles look nice and have options with a base or suction cup to the window. The remote is handy and there is a “flicker” setting that makes it look even more beautiful. My issue with the candles is that there must be a problem with the timer function inside. I have 16 candles running once it gets dark and these candles sometimes have a mind of their own. The candles are all set to come on around the same time each night. Sometimes, some don’t turn on and sometimes they don’t turn off after the set time. They have plenty of power in the batteries and they work fine for a while and then randomly there will be an issue. I never had this issue with other battery operated candles. The remote that comes with them does make it easier to rectify the issues that come up. I just wish I didn’t have to have the issues after spending all that money. Replacing the timer inside with something more relible would make this product a solid 5 star. But, i am worried how long these will last since I am having problems when they are new.”

“Bought 2 packs of these. It took several tries to get them on the timer function. One candle's timer function does not work at all. It only turns on and off.”

“I like these & they work! They look nice and inviting. The white and gold part of the taper, plus the flame fit in a fine, consice, tailored look. The catch for me was, upon opening the tip or the flame (to insert the batteries), notice or be watching for the paper thin gold piece that ignites the Double AA battery, it sometimes popped onto the floor unaware when trying to insert battery. You can barely see it on the floor if it does, and that is what charges the light to work. The flames are bright, and the packaging was perfect. Everything in its place. I am so grateful for the price of these, as well, $55 for 8. I put two in each window of our two-story brick home. The remote works just like clockwork, no issues! “Last year I bought a set for my apartment in our retirement community. My neighbors were so impressed at how beautiful and distinctive they looked so I bought four more sets to cover 8 apartments. “Really had high hopes for these candles after reading all the great reviews but so far I am not impressed. The remote only works on some of the candles and the timer didnt work last night. Candles were still on this am. I had to take a bamboo stick and straighten out the battery spring in the bottom of a few of the candles to get them to work. Finally got them to all light with remote will see how timer works tonight.”
