This light is too small for a lampost and too tall for a fence post. The color is technically described as 3000K (LED Temperature 3000K) but it is more like the written description of cool white in the 4000K-5000K range. It also does not have hardware that would allow it to attach to a lampost or fence post. It does come with a screw-on stake which would allow it to be stuck into the ground but the design would make it awkward on anything but a very flat surface and I think it could get lost with leaves or snow or such things. . Aesthetically a very nice product but functionally a zero. Please make your descriptions accurate.

Update: It’s been 4 months and all 4 of these lights I purchased are dead. Downgrading my review. Garbage. I've only had these a few days but so far I'm reasonably happy with them. They're a cinch to set up (attach the spike, turn it on, plop it down), and light the path nicely. I'm deducting one star for the relatively cheap materials and sloppy laminate on the top panel. That's my only complaint: they feel a little flimsy.

SUPER bright and perfect for marking my rural driveway. I feel a lot safer with teenagers taking the car after dark now that they can see the entrance to the driveway. 4 stars because I wish the cool white was warm white instead, but that's just a preference.
