“I love these lanterns, and have them on small shepherd's hooks along my front walkway and scattered around my back deck, and I'm impressed with battery life. However, the interiors of the lanterns and the candles themselves get absolutes filthy being outside, and since the lanterns are sealed, there is no way to clean them. The rings on the top are pretty flimsy, and have opened up and caused the lantern to crash to the ground.”

“They must be shipping something else now because I got six lanterns that are totally made of cheap black plastic. If you dropped it from three feet that would be the end of them. There's no faux finish or resin. It's just your typical cheap black plastic with no detail. It does come with batteries though. I am very doubtful this will hold up outside.”
