“My device would not recognize the battery as a garmin product. Stated this on the Garmin screen. Unfortunately , I did not keep the receipt. Threw the battery away.”

“It’s always wise to have a spare battery for your Alpha handheld. It’s easy to replace when needed while you are out there and it’s piece of mind if your battery dies. Especially when in new terrain and you need to get back to your truck.”

“Battery is probably fine the Alpha 100 was the mistake. $800 dollars for this piece of junk. Very displeased with Garmin. i also had 1 of there Montana GPS’ That is about the same. It does not work either. ow they are not even repairing them anymore. You can get a refurbished 1 for $230. Very poor customer service. I would recommend finding another collar company. Tri Tronics was a great company Garmin turned them both into loosers”
