“Recently added a new GSP to our team. Have been using the tt15 for several years. Our new dog was on the small side I wanted to try a collar more proportional to his size. The tt15 mini is a much better fit for my 55# Dog. My experience with the new collar has been very good as I have come to expect from Garmin. It synked easily with my handheld, provided all the feedback I have come to rely on and delivered all training inputs. I understand the battery life is less than then standard collar. I have not had an opportunity to test that yet.”

“The Tt15 fits smaller adult GSPs better than the T5. I have 11 GSPs and a collar for each depending on their size. If your dog usually wears a 14-inch or smaller collar then the Tt15 will give a proper fit. Otherwise, for 15-inch and above neck size the T5 works well. I use my collars with different colors of strap and the dog's each wears a matching color standard collar. So my Orange strapped T5 goes on the dog wearing the standard orange collar, Red to red, Blue to blue. This way the dogs are listed properly on the 200i as soon as we go. The Tt15 works just as well for training as the T5 and the programable buttons on the 200i are a perfect match. The Tt15 is also good for starting a puppy as young as three months, turned off of course, but teaches the puppy that when you put the collar on it's time for fun, training, and birds. Doing this regularly without using current will begin the dog associating the collar with the field and hunting, and help to prevent a "collar-wise" dog in the future.”
