“I've been hunting grouse for 58 years. I'm also an avid shooter. The shooting has left me with a severe hearing loss. I've used the loudest bell and beeper available and they are good for a maximum of 50 yards. I'm constantly frustrated by not being able to see or hear my dog. The Alpha allows me to locate the direction and distance of my dog and find out if she is on point. If she's not on point I can give her a tone and bring her in if she's out too far. The Alpha is extremely accurate. I still use the beeper on point mode so I rely on the Alpha until I get close enough to pin point the dog via the beeper. The Alpha keeps me in the game.”
