“Garmin really nailed it with the 200i. They took the Alpha 100, retained the best features and seriously improved on the 100's short comings. Most notably: the larger, brighter screen, I no longer need reading glasses: the operating buttons, no longer need to access the touch screen for the most frequently accessed functions; streamlined the menu so you can just deal with what you need. I have read the 200i is not compatible with the OnX. Not something I have used, but my be an issue for some. My only frustration they changed the plug so I can't use the charger from my Alpha 100. If you don't have a GPS unit and are buying one, the 200i is well worth the price difference. If you have a 100 and want to upgrade; that's a choice only you can make. I upgraded from a 100 and glad I did.”
