“The T5x is the same size and weight as the T5 collar. Its operation is the same as the T5. Dogs down to 35 pounds carry it with no problem. That is the smallest size of dog that I currently own. It is durable but may not survive a drop of 4 feet or higher onto a tile or concrete floor. I would not want to run a good bird dog without it. It makes the beeper collar or bell obsolete for a hard-of-hearing old guy. The only disadvantage of the T5x is that it will not mate with the Astro 320 handheld.”

“I use the T5x collar on the dogs when letting them out for exercise and when hunting. So far it has worked reliably to track the dog and provide interesting statistics such as distance traveled. It is durable and well-tolerated by the dogs.”
