“Since I discovered this vest 3 years ago, I've purchased 3 for my 2 setters, one a medium for my 45- pound male and the other a small for my 35-pound female. All have worked beautifully to protect my dogs from injury and to keep them from picking up so many burrs in their coats. This fall when LCS was out of stock on the small size, I waited a few weeks for more to come in rather than purchasing a different vest. I highly recommend this Armor Vest 2 because of the countless miles of safe hunting my dogs have experienced while wearing them.”

“I love this vest! Lucy my Pudelpointer, wears it everytime she's in the woods or field. The vest protects her from briar and brambles, moisture and mud. It makes her easy to see. The plastic buckles make a noice when she's working which is nice when she's in the thick stuff so I know where she is. It's always wet at the end so I just lay it over her kennel in the car and it's dry and ready for the next time. She puts it through a lot so I got a second one so I'm ready when the first one is worn out. Great product.”

“Fits my vizsla well, we hunt briar and thick stuff, this vest keeps the briars out, easy to see my dog in cover, the reflector strips work great.”

“Fits my shorthair well. Protected her from barbwire. The chest plate is showing signs of wear already after 5 hunts. It is definitely protecting her though. It doesn't seem very heavy like the description says compared to the one as far as warmth I think you would be fine with the 2. I live in Iowa.”

“Medium fits my 43# vizsla well, no binding or chafing, great in the brush, keeps her from scratches, also dries quick when wet.”
