“My dog wears the vest every day so she puts it to the test. They do wear out with lots of use. I get a few months out of one but it is being put to the test. I keep a few on hand. Good product.”

“Prompt shipping and a quality product. Great protection from briars for your dog. If you need brush pants your dog deserves one of these vests. The only complaint is the buckles are very large especaily for a size small vest.”

“Since owning 2 English Setters for hunting pheasants, chukar and quail, they have each been wearing a Bird Dog Armor Vest 2 that I purchased from Lion Country Supply. We hunt the very rough and dry country of the Colorado high plains 8-10 times each season. The vests fit comfortably, stay on the dogs consistently well, and protect them from the many burrs, weeds and grasses that inhabit those plains. I especially appreciate how they protect the chest of my dogs from puncture wounds. I've had no problem with any of the three vests I've purchased and will buy more if these ever wear out.”

“Built well, lots of adjustment, holds up well in the thick stuff as well as against barbwire. Dogs wont over heat as they can with neoprene vests. I had to order a smaller size for my shorthair, but even the hand me down large was adjustable enough i made it work for a few trips. I Can't recommend this vest enough.”

“I bought this for my GSP - a big, hard running dog. He bounced off a couple of barbed wire fences wearing this (before he figured wire fences out) without a scratch. When I got a second GSP, I bought a second vest for the pup. We live in NH, and in addition to protection, these add a lot of visibility and some warmth on winter hikes. Great product for a very fair price.”
