The weld on the arm of this batch seems to be better than the last batch I purchased, but I have not tried them all. The past batch I purchased, the weld on the arm kept breaking so time will tell. I’m reluctant to recommend due to that and the fact that Lion County wanted me to pay to return the ones that had a bad weld and I don’t know if the weld is going to hold on the new batch yet.

It needs to be in a small stake out.

All though the customer service was great the first stake broke within minutes due to poor quality welding .. my son is in welding school and took it to class welded it and been using it ever since .. and I love it! They did send me a replacement stake right away but I haven't officially hooked one of my dogs to it .. but it appears to be properly welded and not easy to break off the d ring .

Livestock Guardian Dogs generally need containment to stay with their herd and not go on to neighbors' properties. When grazing outside a fence or using a new or difficult livestock guardian dog to contain, these longer stake outs are very effective in containing an 85 - 140 lb. dog. We add a 15-20 foot chain for better movement.
