I got this pistol because my training pistol that I had forever stopped functioning. Overall it seems to be pretty bulky compared to my last one and will most likely fire blanks for a long time to come. I have not had it for very long and I just have two complaints. The finish is very light and the blueing has worn off the gun in no time. I usually just throw it in a pocket for training and anywhere that has rubbed is missing the blueing. The second which is more of a concern is that the cylinder spins freely when loaded. This can be annoying because if you only have one or two blanks left and you have been carrying it, you may need to pull the trigger a bunch of times through all the fired blanks before finding a live one. It would be nice if the teeth that engaged the cylinder to spin while firing also locked the cylinder from spinning.

I purchase is gone from my husband he field trials with German shorthairpointers. We have used this gun multiple times now and we absolutely love it! Super easy to use, does what it’s intended to do and just an all-around great gun!

This is a very solid well-made, heavy pistol. It appears to be a conversion of an actual ammo-firing weapon. The trigger pull is strong; however, the gun can be easily fired by cocking the trigger. The strong trigger pull means that the gun should never need the hammer/trigger spring replaced. The one big downside to this gun is that the muzzle is totally blocked from the front to the barrel. It does NOT have a partially opened muzzle with an exhaust hole. Thus, the blast from the blank is dispersed from the front of the barrel. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THIS PISTOL IS NOT HELD IN FRONT OF ANYONE. I've been hit in the eye several times with black powder when I forgot this. I've only used .22 shorts. I'm sure .22 long blanks would be even more serious; I imagine the .32 caliber version could be a bigger problem
