“I was expecting the drive track to work a lot like my Astro and Alfa. It doesn’t , or maybe I can’t figure it out First , it doesn’t leave a track where I’ve been. I don’t run roads all the time , I’m on logging roads etc., and it would be great to see where I’ve been and the dogs. When I called Garmin to inquire they said it doesn’t do that. Second, unlike my Astro and Alfa it doesn’t save the tracks. I like to look at how the dogs ran after I’m done. It either doesn’t save the dog tracks or I can’t figure out how to do it Third, I wanted a unit for hunting. I don’t need or want another car gps. I have enough. I wanted a full on hunting machine and I think Garmin fell short. Third I’ve tried to download waypoints and only half down load via their software I retrospect I would not of bought the unit if I truly under stood the hunting and dog tracking limitations. I don’t really care where the closest hotel is. I’m hunting”
