“For at least 20 years I have been using the Double Buffalo Whistle. First with my Drahthaar and now with my Brittany. I use one clear toot to change direction, and two toots to come to me. The warble note is to stop or whoa the dog at a distance. This is great when the dog could get into a busy road and start chasing non-game, such as a deer. When these signals are started I use an e-collar to draw extra attention. After a while it all became automatic with me. Would not be without it.”

“I've used this for years. Pea end for recall (toot-toot toot-toot) and whoa (toot) and other end for go with me (toot toot). Works like a charm.”

“I've just purchased this type of whistle for training my Deutsche Drauthaur....it seems to be loud and clear....wondering if the pea side will freeze in cold weather”

“I really like the whistle. I actually have two of them and they sound very slightly different but not enough to throw my dogs off. Also I’d like the part your lips go on the whistle to be a little longer so I could hold it in my teeth and blow it and not have to hold it with my hands. Other than that I like and would recommend it.”
