“The Field Trial collar earned five stars from me. The quality of the materials, the craftsmanship, and the level of customer service (the brass name plate was missing some information...LCS immediately corrected the error and replaced the original items) earned the highest mark available. A word of caution: If your dog has an especially small neck (like a year old Brittany, for example), and you want a snug (two fingers under the collar) fit then I would opt for the LCS Grand Champion Collar (either the 'O' or the 'D' ring). The LCSGC collar will allow you to add an additional hole to provide a better fit for smaller necks. The Field Trial Collar widens out to the point that the leather will not fit through the buckle if a hole is added. This is not a complaint, simply me relating my experience. LCS does comment in the product's description as to the necessary size of the dog's neck in order to get a proper fit. I used the LCS Grand Champion 'O' Ring Collar on Captain Chaos and I was able to modify it to my needs with no problem. Great collars both of them, but the LCS Grand Champion is my choice...and I'll be purchasing that unit again shortly for Master of Mayhem and Bullet's Eternal Havoc! Keep up the great work, LCS!”
