“Got my Backing Dog and was disappointed from day one. Came with no charging unit, but LCS rapidly resolved that issue. Two major problems with this unit. First is lack of accessibility to the main control unit. Very difficult to turn unit on/off, and the indicator light is not visible without disassembling the unit. Second, and more important problem is lack of range. Even with new batteries/full charge on all components, I can’t get the unit to reliably operate at more than ~100 feet. MUCH less than advertised. I’ve owned one in the past that was much better in both aspects…should never have sold it!”

“This is a great backing dog, but I find it very cumbersome to use. It is very heavy, the "On" receiver button is hard to use as I often leave it on because it is hard to see, and it's range is limited unless you have perfect conditions. It helps a lot in backing situations, but honestly, I might go back to using silouettes. It is handy but a lot of work”
